Do you like this story?
Since the release of PowerPoint 2010, users can now integrate videos with high resolutions inside their slideshows. However, adding videos to your presentations will increase dramatically your file size, which will be inconvenient when sending them via email, Skype, etc.As a solution for this problem, Microsoft has integrated a compressing tool in PowerPoint that allows to reduce the size of a file up to 50%.
You can reduce the size of a PowerPoint file by following these instructions:
1. Launch PowerPoint 2010 and open any large file containing videos, images, etc.
2. To reduce the size of the file, open the File menu, and under the Info tab, click Compress Media, then select one of these three proposed options:
- Presentation Quality
- Internet Quality
- Low Quality
3. Wait now while media file files are being compressed:
That's it!
