The tip of today consists of backing up data stored in a Linux folder into an iso image using the command line. No need to install software to do this, just one command is enough to create an iso image.

Open the command line under any Linux-based system and run this command:

mkisofs -o image.iso -R directory

Replace directory with the name of the directory you want backup its contents in an iso image. "image.iso" is the name of the iso image that will be created, you can rename it to whatever you want.

That's it!
