In this article, we will see the command used to check MX records of any domain name via the terminal.

Get Started

Launch the terminal and issue this command:

dig spotht.com mx +short

Replace spotht.com with the domain name you want to check its MX records. Here is a sample of what I received via the terminal for the spotht.com domain:

             ~$ dig spotht.com mx +short
10 eforward1.registrar-servers.com.
10 eforward3.registrar-servers.com.
10 eforward2.registrar-servers.com.

That's it.
