Darktable is a software for manipulating RAW images, a file format proposed by recent digital camera devices. This software will surely be appreciated by many photo fans that use Linux.
- To install Darktable on a Debian-based distribution (Ubuntu, KNOPPIX, Stonegate, Kanotix, Xandros, etc.), launch the terminal and run these commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pmjdebruijn/darktable-release
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install darktable
- To install Darktable on an RPM-based distribution (Fedora, SUSE Linux, Ark Linux, etc.), run this command in the terminal:
yum install darktable
