How To install Photoshop Smoke Brushes in Gimp

In this tutorial, I will explain how to set up Photoshop Smoke Brushes in Gimp. Before installing Photoshop Smoke Brushes, make sure your Gimp version support Photoshop brush formats. Next you need simply to follow these easy steps:
1. Download first the Smoke Brushes zip file from here.
2. To know the folder where Gimp's brushes are installed, open Gimp, then click Edit > Preferences.
On the left click the plus (+) sign related to the Folders tab.
Click now Brushes button and on the right, a full path to brushes folder will be displayed.
3. After finding the brushes' folder, extract the contents of the downloaded file into it. You have to place 21 Smoke Brush.abr file in C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\brushes.
4. Now let's refresh the brush list. In your toolbox, click Paintbrush Tool icon, then at the bottom click the button with a black circle located just after the Brush label.
A window appears, click the small paintbrush button to open the brush selection dialog.
Click now Refresh button as shown in this screenshot:
Photoshop smoke brushes will appear in the brush list:
That's it.
